About 60,000 toddlers accompanied by adults visit the The South Carolina Aquarium on a yearly basis. “It’s our single largest demographic,” explains South Carolina Aquarium CEO Kevin Mills. Soft Play was asked to design, build and paint play elements that allow children to use their imaginations, have fun and be safe. The play area is located on the second floor of the aquarium and overlooks Charleston Harbor. This immersive play area is also used for story hour which is held weekly and is geared toward children ages 2-6.
